Sur les cendres du mythique groupe psychédélique anglais the Move, Roy Wood fonde avec Jeff Lynne le groupe Electric Light Orchestra qui ambitionne de reprendre les choses là ou "I am the walrus" les a laissé. Très vite Roy Wood s'en va pour former Wizzard, Lynne reste le seul vrai maitre à bord d'un groupe dont les line up changent fréquemment. Sur le troisième LP du groupe se trouve le titre instrumental Daybreaker, également face b du single ma-ma-ma-belle, un titre qui fusionne des éléments de classiques avec une ligne de moog terrible.écouter daybreaker
After the split of the mythic english psychedelic band the Move, Roy Wood and Jeff Lynne founded Electric Light Orchestra, their aim was to continue where "I am the walrus" left the things. Roy Wood after the first LP left the band to form Wizzard. So Jeff Lynne became the leader of a band with constant change in the line up. On the third album we can find the very nice daybreaker, an instrumental track that mix instrumental orchestration with a very good moog.
