Histoire de changer un peu de registre voici un petit morceau funky de 1969 signé Ironing Board Sam, un illustre inconnu (apparemment un blues man d'après ce que j'ai pu comprendre en tapant son nom sur google) sorti sur un label français, sans que l'on sache vraiment ce que vient faire cette petite production américaine, de ce coté ci de l'Atlantique. L'histoire au dos de la pochette est vraiment très marrante, alors je t'invite, toi le francophone à lire cette petite présentation pleine de charme! Pour le morceau - intitulé original funky bell bottom, comme je le disais en intro c'est un titre funky bien fichu sans être ultra-original, l'ensemble constitue une curiosité réjouissante.
After doin an extra-large post about Eddy Mitchell, here is a little one, on a not-really-known american singer/keyboardist called Ironing Board Sam (on google you can find a little more information actually). I'm so sad for you english or no-french speaking readers, because you lack the beautifull text on the back of the sleeve about Ironing Board Sam. It is saying more or less that he (real name Sam Moore) had his nickname from doin his own keyboard with recycled materials because his old one had been burnt in a fire. Indeed, i can't tell you how that little american production get a release here in France, but the whole story must be really fun!
