Flower Of Deceit est une superbe chanson d'indie pop entrainante du groupe écossais Bricolage. Caché en Face B de leur premier single (Footsteps) sorti en juin 2006 sur le label Creeping Bent, elle aurait sans doute mérité une exposition plus importante. Car, malgré sa production vaguement brouillonne (pas étonnant quand on s'appelle Bricolage), cette chanson possède tout ce qu'il faut pour une A Side d'une grande classe, des mélodies élégantes, la petite touche de nonchalance vocale et une énergie communicative. Flower Of Deceit is a wonderful indie catchy pop song written by the scots named Bricolage. Hidden on the B-side of their first single Footsteps released by Creeping Bent during summer '06 on a stencil painted sleeve and white coloured record, this song surely deserve more. The production is quite drafty, which is not a surprised when you're called Bricolage... But this song owns everything for making a perfect classy a-side : neat melodies, nonchalant singing and above all a real energy. So come out and dance with us !
