Samurai isn't the first try of Nozaki Ryota AKA Jazztronik, it was already releasing his first record in 1999 on Yellow (Bob Sinclar's label) with Ms Loneliss (which was remixed by the french greatest deep house producer DJ Gregory). Samurai is really the more emblematic song of his work. It mixes Deep House feeling with a touch of Jazz (the great piano lead!) and a broken beat rhythm section. This is the perfect track to going crazy on the dancefloor, not puting your hands in the air, but showing what you're able to do with your feet and your hips, dancing to impress the world! There is a few, I lived, some of my best club times with this song, imagine all the people in the club, clapping during the break, shouting and then dancing like nobody's watching! This is one of the rare track which could create a moment like that!
